Hello, I am having an IE icon issue. Before you lambast me for posting in

the incorrect forum, please note that I was unable to navigate to the IE

community. I was told it was not available.

My issue is this: I have no "official" IE7 icon on my desktop. All avenues

of pursuit that I know, including modifying the "HideDesktopIcons" (or

something like that) method. There is no checkbox in desktop properties that

I can check. Please help

Re: IE7 Desktop Icon

Ju.c,

this took care of the issue. I had tried this method before, as described

in my post, but must have navigated to the incorrect key (ehck!) No I will

have to chase down my error, or I can simply do yet another clean install,

which is what started this problem in the first place.

thanks again!
