Guest Ken G. Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I have a desktop running xp pro and NTFS file system and a laptop running XP MCE and Fat32 file system in a network. The desktop sees the mapped drive on the laptop as always disconnected and unavailable to connect and with a file system called *NT5CSC. I believe the different file systems are not a problem in a network, so why is the mapped drive on the laptop always disconnected, and where did that file system come from?
