Guest jeantoou Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I'm running xp pro svc pk 2, on a standalone and it appears that I am hosting a domain that I can't admin. I cannot download, update, install, etc. When I try to update I'm told I don't have admin permission to do so. I cannot get this out. My whole system is running on logs and manifests and my bios and root have been changed. Help me please! I've been working on this for a while, Seagate (my harddrive manf) seems to think that somebody with a wireless router took over my sys. Any solutions? Advice? I thank you in advance for any assist you might provide. kind regards Jean

The first option is probably the best since the professional can set up your wireless securely for you. S/he will probably also do a clean install of Windows.
