Guest Alvaro Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Internet Explorer 7 is a total disgrace. It provides for security not requested, and if it had some efficiency it would be nice, but it is taking minutes to go from one window to the next! On the other hand it has converted my screen into its private billboard. It pops up instructions at every turn. Unless somebody can advice me how to permanently kill off the pop-ups and a how to drastically improve its performance I am going back to version 6. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Alvaro

It works perfectly on my computer. It provides for security not requested, What virus programs are you running? What firewall? Why blame IE? and if it had some efficiency it would be nice, but it is taking > minutes to go from one window to the next! Running virus scanner? DSL?
