Hi, can you let us know as much as possible about the computer and its specifications, make model number or motherboard and graphics, also which games are they.

It sounds like they may be too intensive for your computer and maybe making it overheat or overload in some other way.

Nev.

System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows XP/Vista
  • CPU: 1.8 GHz
  • RAM: 512 MB
  • DirectX: 9.0
  • Hard Drive: 293 MB

The above are the system specs for art of murder (deadly secrets)

They are very basic - I assume that your system complies ?

Right Click My Computer > Properties to find out how much RAM

Which Service Pack do you have ?

=============

Start > Run .....type in ......devmgmt.msc ...........ENTER

Click the + next to Display Adapters

What is listed?

=============

Start > Run .....type in ......dxdiag .....ENTER

What version of Direct X do you have?

=============

104C is still hot.

Switch off at the wall but leave the plug in to maintain the earth connection to the m/board.

Take the side panel off. Inspect the inside of the case for dust.

Pay particular attention to the Video Card.

Do you have onboard video too? Another VGA socket at the back of the machine where you could plug in the monitor.

i took the side of and gave it a quick vacuum and got rid of whta dust i could see,ran speccy again motherboard 35c graphics 80c but seems to be going up and hard drives 30c

If you have - then we can try that and eliminate the Video Card.

Failing that I can only suggest a replacement Video Card and hope that solves your problem.

You could try your card in another system - but if your card is damaged this may cause problems in the second PC.

how do i find out if i have onboard video card?

Take a look at the back of the machine where the monitor cable is connected.

If you have two sockets like this :

One will probably be the onboard video. ( unless the Video Card has two outputs ).
