Plastic Nev Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Hi, can you let us know as much as possible about the computer and its specifications, make model number or motherboard and graphics, also which games are they. It sounds like they may be too intensive for your computer and maybe making it overheat or overload in some other way. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? KenB Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Your system specs seem OK to run the game. Nev may be right with his "overheating" Download Speccy from here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy Play the game and take a note of the temperatures before it crashes. Let us know what they are. KenB Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Is this a laptop or desktop machine? Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
suarezlfc Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 its just a normal desktop computer,i tried playing the game again but it froze yet again Quote
suarezlfc Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 ive just turned computer back on after game freezing, ive ran speccy again motherboard 46c graphics 104c and hard drives 36c Quote
KenB Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 104C is still hot. Switch off at the wall but leave the plug in to maintain the earth connection to the m/board. Take the side panel off. Inspect the inside of the case for dust. Pay particular attention to the Video Card. Do you have onboard video too? Another VGA socket at the back of the machine where you could plug in the monitor. KenB Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Do you have onboard video too? Another VGA socket at the back of the machine where you could plug in the monitor. You didn't answer this. suarezlfc Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 im not sure if i have onboard video, and dont think i have another vga socket Quote
KenB Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 If you have - then we can try that and eliminate the Video Card. Failing that I can only suggest a replacement Video Card and hope that solves your problem. You could try your card in another system - but if your card is damaged this may cause problems in the second PC. suarezlfc Posted January 11, 2012 Author Posted January 11, 2012 how do i find out if i have onboard video card? how much are they to replace? i play championship manager on my pc and it runs ok,dont understand why these other games wont run Quote
KenB Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 how do i find out if i have onboard video card? Take a look at the back of the machine where the monitor cable is connected. If you have two sockets like this : One will probably be the onboard video. ( unless the Video Card has two outputs ).
