When I try to run a scan disc, as the computer reboots I get a message

stating that my 'C' drive is NTSF and the scan disc can not proceed. This is

new as I never had a problem running scan disc in the past. I don't know what

happened. Any ideas and how can I fix it?

Scandisk was the disk-checking utility in Win 95 and Win 98. WinXP use

chkdsk.
