Guest Irshad Alam Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I want to make a folder and set a password to view. So that the other people of the same network who want to view the contents of folder should have to provide a password to view/open the files I tried but failed. Please advise Regards Irshad

Guest ju.c Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Re: How to set password to your folder My Lockbox 1.2 1.27 MB http://www.fspro.net/folder-lock-box/ Version: 1.2 Released: 14-Dec-2007 Supported OS: Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista x64 Support: Yes! License: Free Quote/ Keep your private files into password protected Lockbox My Lockbox is a security software enabling you to password protect any folder on your computer. The protected folder (lockbox) is hidden from any user and application of your system, including Administrator and System itself. It is impossible to access the lockbox not only from the local computer, but also from the net. The program is extremely easy to use. You can set the lockbox location and the password during the setup procedure. After the setup is done, lockbox will be hidden and locked until you enter the valid password. My Lockbox Control Panel allows you easily change basic lockbox parameters: lockbox location, protection status, password. In addition, skinned user interface lets you choose from different skins to select the most comfortable look and feel of the software. /Quote ju.c "Irshad Alam" <IrshadAlam@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:08B7BE8D-4CAE-41AC-8913-75F827634BEB@microsoft.com... > I want to make a folder and set a password to view. > > So that the other people of the same network who want to view the contents > of folder should have to provide a password to view/open the files > > I tried but failed. > > Please advise > > Regards > > Irshad > > >
