Re: Lost XP Disc

Where did you get your XP, was it a retail disc or was it installed on a

computer. If it came installed on the computer get in touch with the maker

of your machine, if it was a retail copy of XP get in touch with Microsoft

as if you give them the correct details you should get a replacement.

Sorry but I don't have the actual URL on hand for Microsoft someone else

will probably be able to provide it if you just wait for a while.

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware -

Or if the disk was a retail copy, you can borrow a friend's retail XP Pro

disk and make a copy for yourself. The Product Key is your license and

there is no problem using a different disk as long as its version matches

yours.

Re: Lost XP Disc

The email 'officially' came from Microsoft I presume? As Bob has also

pointed out you paid for it, presumably via credit or debit card so that

should be sufficient proof.
