Guest Joan Archer Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Re: Lost XP Disc Where did you get your XP, was it a retail disc or was it installed on a computer. If it came installed on the computer get in touch with the maker of your machine, if it was a retail copy of XP get in touch with Microsoft as if you give them the correct details you should get a replacement. Sorry but I don't have the actual URL on hand for Microsoft someone else will probably be able to provide it if you just wait for a while. -- Joan Archer http://www.freewebs.com/crossstitcher http://lachsoft.com/photogallery "Ailisia" <Ailisia@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1686940A-FD28-4BED-B9C7-41B7B2615202@microsoft.com... > I still hav emy product but i either lost or never recevied my XP Disc > when i > bought it off website, can anyone tell me if there is a way to get another > wihtout re-ordering?

The Product Key is your license and there is no problem using a different disk as long as its version matches yours. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! Guest John Barnett MVP Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Re: Lost XP Disc The email 'officially' came from Microsoft I presume?
