Synchronize not working

I've tried to set up file synchronizing between my desktop (XP pro) and my

laptop (MCE) on a home wireless network. As far as I can see I've done it

correctly and when I log on and log off and both computers are on it shows

the sync window and says it was successful but when I check the folders on

each computer new files haven't been added and existing ones are not updated.

The same happens if I do a manual sync from either computer.

 

What am I doing wrong?
