heartandgroin Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 i have a desktop connected to my wireless broadband via a wire, i have just bought a wireless printer and when i try to set it up wirelessly it wont connect and i found something that says my wireless is disabled but i cant figure out how to enable the wireless to set up the printer or is there some other way to set it up so it is still wireless to the other computers in my home network while my desktop is wired to the broadband Quote
KenB Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS Which Printer do you have? says my wireless is disabled I assume that you have a router with the desktop machine connected? What is the make and model of the router? If it is a router - Is it broadcasting SSID ( the router name ) so that other machines can detect it and connect wirelessly ?
