Can not change Terminal Server licensing mode

Recommended Posts

Posted

We have 20 TS per User licenses and I have installed, but when I go to

Terminal Service Configuration - Server Settings

it's "Per Device" but I can not change it. Therefore there are 20 Per

Device licenses that are caducing and some terminals are not allowed to

access and I can not release the assiged Per Device license. Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Felix.

Re: Can not change Terminal Server licensing mode

What OS are you running?

Why are you unable to change the licensing mode? Is the option of Per

User mode not there at all, or is it greyed out, or are you getting

an error message, or does the server crash, or .....?

Which account are you using when you log on and try to change the

licensing mode? Must be at least Domain Admin.
