My software went corrupt and I had to reinstall all, now my dvd will not play.

It starts and runs about a sec and then wants to send an error report to MS,

they said there is no fix for it right now. Then it shuts itself down, it

will do everything else but not play a dvd.

I am using win XP OEM and my computer is out of warranty, the manufacture is

no help, MS is no help, can somebody please help, I am using MSIDVD5.1 for

decoder.

install the K-Lite Mega Codec pack 4.17. It's free.
