Need Help Finding a Network Setting in XP

Hello,

I am trying to set up Split Tunneling with my VPN. I know that I need to

uncheck "Use Default Gateway on the Remote Network". But all the web sites

I have gone to show a picture that does not match what I have.

The sites I found say to go to your network settings -> TCP/IP Properties

-> Advanced button -> And on the General tab uncheck "Use Default Gateway

on the Remote Network".

I have the other tabs shown in all the pictures, DNS, WINS, Options, but I

don't have a General tab. I do, however, have a tab of a different name

"IP Settings" but it has no such check box as described.

Can anyone provide some insight?

Thanks!!

In that final options box where you see the three tabs, General, DNIS, and

WINS, I don’t have the General tab with the "Use Default Gateway on the

Remote Network" check box. I have a different tab named, "IP Settings".

That’s the problem.

Thanks.

I suggest you recreate the VPN shortcut, documenting each step as

you go. I will then do the same on my own machine.
