Hi All,

 

Having just returned to work after the break I find my network in the office is not working. I have 4 PCs all with XP Pro SP3 on them. All worked together via a Netgear DG834G router/modem, with file and print sharing and all connected to the Internet before the break. This morning I can only get internet on 1 machine and can't access files on this machine from the others. I've tried repairing the connection on each machine, no joy. Is there any way I can clear all of the existing network details fromm all machines and start again? Or any othe advise you can give me. Sorry but this is now very urgent as I am unable to work without this operating correctly.

Thanks Ken, Once again you are right on the money, I had tried re-booting the router a couple of times already with no success. This time I left it switched off for a couple of minutes then switched on again but it was another 20 minutes before the system started to work properly again. Thanks again......problem solved!
