Guest JJ Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 When I open a folder the the far left hand folders column no longer opens automatically. I have to click the folders icon on the task bar. How do I set it to default with the folders column upon openning? -- jj

Hi JJ, You can create a shortcut on your Desktop with the Target: %windir%\explorer.exe /e That will open Explorer with the folder pane. See in Folders Options, Types, Folders, if you can select the default action explorer instead of open. 215.
