tfwwolf Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Ok I recently purchased a VGA cable for my 360 and ps3 and i want to make it HD by using a connector to make it DVI But the problem is this DVI connector came with my graphics card and works fine in my desktop But when i try to put the vga to DVI converter into the DVI slot for my HD monitor its too big? Hard to explain or understand but i try to force it in (stupid of me no damage thankfully) But its too big for the DVI slot on my monitor so i thought to myself (because im not really that gifted with monitor technical support) Maybe theres 2 different types of connectors for a monitor compared to a graphics card So i ordered this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000FII810/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= Hopeing AND PRAYING it will fit Any ideas what it could be? Thank you Quote
KenB Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS Quote from one of the Amazon reviews I bought one of these adaptors to connect my xbox 360 VGA cable to my DVI input on my HD TV. One word, Perfect. Is what you have got exactly the same as the Amazon photo ? What is the make and model number of your Monitor?
