Guest tshad Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Is there a way to get a Developer version of Windows 2003? I am trying to play with Active directory and Sql Server 2005 for certifications and can't really afford to purchase a couple copies of it. I think it used to come with the Developer version of Sql Server 2000 but not sure if it is still available for this purpose. Thanks, Tom

You should try to get evaluation version at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/bb430831.aspx HTH, Dush "tshad" <tfs@dslextreme.com> wrote in message news:uLSMBm6AJHA.3828@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Is there a way to get a Developer version of Windows 2003? > > I am trying to play with Active directory and Sql Server 2005 for > certifications and can't really afford to purchase a couple copies of it. > I think it used to come with the Developer version of Sql Server 2000 but > not sure if it is still available for this purpose. > > Thanks, > > Tom >

Actually, we never had an MSDN subscription. The W2K3 came with the developer version of Sql Server 2000. > > You should try to get evaluation version at: > http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/bb430831.aspx That would be another way around it. What is the time limit on it?
