Guest yaro137@googlemail.com Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Is there a way to check what's taking licenses? When I get to Admin tools>Licensing on an 2003SBS server it just tels me how many are installed and what's the maximum usage. I've got 10 licenses and only 9 computers including the server so I would like to find out why the maximum usage is 11. Thanks yaro
Guest Danny Sanders Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Re: Licenses Because the license logging service does not work as expected. Stop and disable the service and keep track of your licenses manually. hth DDS <yaro137@googlemail.com> wrote in message news:788b81c7-2eef-418a-b408-a01f4013db1c@a1g2000hsb.googlegroups.com... > Is there a way to check what's taking licenses? Try posting in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs for more expert help.

I cant' think of any Application within the system that would allow me to manually assign licenses. Besides if I stop the licensing service do I need to worry about the licanses at all? yaro
