Guest GNET_NY Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Anyone know why a Winxp laptop would take an extremely long time to copy large image files over a VPN network link? i.e. broadband connection, 5 meg file, 15 minutes? the same thing happens when connecting to a VPN network outlook.pst file for mail. It could take up to 25 minutes to send and receive mail in outlook 2007. Every other request takes normal time. Even after the Mfgr. (Dell) replaced the processor and memory.

Which direction? - What is your broadband upload/download speed? - Have tried running some tests with a non-VPN connection, e.g. by uploading some files to an FTP or Internet file storage site?
