Guest ashmeadm Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Hi Guys, I am running Win XP Pro - fully updated. I usually let my system hibernate. Lately, when I come out of hibernation I get a black screen. The mouse pointer is available but when I press the buttons I get a beef. I have power off/on the system to to get back in. What is causing this issue and what is the solution? Thanks.

Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Re: Desktop does not load from hibernation A Windows XP SP3-based computer loses wireless connectivity when it resumes from standby or from hibernation, or you receive an error message when you try to put the computer in standby or in hibernation: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951447 -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ ashmeadm wrote: > Hi Guys, > > I am running Win XP Pro - fully updated.
