Desktop does not load from hibernation

Hi Guys,

 

I am running Win XP Pro - fully updated. I usually let my system hibernate.

Lately, when I come out of hibernation I get a black screen. The mouse

pointer is available but when I press the buttons I get a beef. I have power

off/on the system to to get back in.

 

What is causing this issue and what is the solution?

Easiest and fastest is to do a system restore to a previous date.

A Windows XP SP3-based computer loses wireless connectivity when it resumes

from standby or from hibernation, or you receive an error message when you

try to put the computer in standby or in hibernation:
