Hey guys I'm kinda new here so I'm sorry if I say anything stupid.

Anyways I was planning on buying a new graphics card and was wondering if the radon hd 6850 is compatible with my computer

OP: Windows home basic

Model: Aspire X1900

Processor: Pentium®

Dual-Core cpu

E6700 @

3.20 gHZ 3.20 Ghz

Ram: 2.00gb

system type: 32bit op system

I think these are the specs for your PC

You have 1 PCIe x 16 slot available on the motherboard. This is where the Graphics Card would fit.

 

You only have a 220Watt Power Supply Unit.

The Radeon HD 6850 requires a 500Watt PSU minimum therefore you would need to upgrade your PSU at the same time.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Yes - that's it.

 

You must make sure that the PSU is compatible.

 

I found this: (it suggests that it is compatible with your Acer machine )

If this is the style of PSU that you have then it is not a standard ATX one.

You may have difficulty finding an upgrade to the 500Watts needed.
