Guest Wojtek Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Hello All, I have the problem with extended characters in DOS application in TS in Windows 2003 which is exactly described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/263749/en-us , but solution mentioned in that article does not work. Any ideas how to solve that problem? TIA Wojtek

What is the system locale of the Windows 2003? How often do you use extended characters? Would it be possible to pre-create the list of extended characters you use in a file, then copy and paste to your DOS application? Guest Wojtek Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Re: Windows 2003 - no extended characters in DOS application in TS Hi, Thanks for your replay. My keyboard layout is US Qwerty one. Locale system in Windows 2003 is Polish one We use polish characters rather often as that DOS app is critical in our company. So using file with list of pre-created extended characters and coping them is rather not acceptable Best regards, Wojtek "Soo Kuan Teo [MSFT]" wrote: > If the keyboard(hardware) you are using is not the US Qwerty type, what is > it?
