Guest Mark Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 How can I get Media Player 11 to output sound to the CD Player volume control rather than Wave volume control, especially whilst listening to CDs and Internet radio. The old Win2K CD Player can do this and it's great for separating the audio CD sound from that of Wave Windows sound effects (opening windows etc.) so that the latter don't blast out whilst listening to CDs etc. Thanks Mark
Guest Mark Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Re: Media Player 11 and CD Player Volume Control Did I ask for the impossible? How does every one else cope with the low volume from WMP and having to turn it Wave volume control up so much you get deafened by windows closing or menu events? Mark

Probably not, but maybe so. Have you considered asking in a WMP group rather than here in XP General? Not only are they more likely to be interested in the issue, and therefore more likely to know the answer to your question, your question won't get lost among the several hundreds of posts that get posted here every day. -- Gary S.
