Guest John Morley Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Hi All, I am having trouble copying directories to my CD-R/W Drive for archival purposes. For example, if I right-click on a particular directory and select 'Send To' the CD-ROM Drive, the copy starts, but the time estimate for the process is many HOURS. The directory in question is 300MB in size. During the copy, which eventually finishes, the computer is essentially non-responsive. After the temporary files are created, the actual CD burn process is fairly quick. This is Windows XP-SP2. Any ideas why this process is Sooooooooooo Slow??? Thanks, John
