Guest MissLady91 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Here's the situation. I purchased a PC game which requires direct X 9.0c. Went online with tech support for over an hour who was very patient with me, but to no avail the game still won't work. The game that I bought is The Sims 2: Double Deluxe Expansion pack. Tech support helped me download DirectX and NViDIA Ge Force 2 and the game still won't play. I have Windows XP home edition. What do I need to do to get this game going? I'm ready to go and get my money back!!

If you were helped by there tech support without reaching a resolution, I suggest you try the game on a different machine that meets the minimum requirements for the game. If it doesn't work on that machine then the disk may most likely be bad and you should return the game. If it does work on another machine, to help others help you, post back and provide your computers exact Make/Model, Motherboard exact Make/Model, exact Video/Audio devices, detailed information on how "the game won't work", any error messages verbatim, etc. -- Brian A.
