Guest Bob Holiday Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 I'm using XP Home. I recently installed Service Pack 3. Now, when my computer starts, it gets to a certain point and then reboots--thus I can't get it to start at all, except in Safe Mode. I installed a Microsoft-supplied patch for this problem, but it didn't help. I've called Microsoft tech support, and that didn't help. The only way I can get my computer to start is to uninstall Service Pack 3 first. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can install Service Pack 3 without this problem? Thanks!
