Two specific users disconnecting each other

Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition Service Pack 2 running Terminal Services

Client OS: Windows XP service pack 2

Remote Desktop control version 5.1.2600.2180

The server can accept "unlimited" number of connections. In practice, about

20 users use it on a day to day basis, all having remote admin permissions.

For all but two users, this is working fine, they can work at the same time.

However, for the two users, if one logs on, the other cannot log on without

disconnecting the first user. It is only affecting these two users. Cloned

the AD account of one user, to see if that solved anything. It didn't. Any

ideas?

Thanks

Mmm, this can only happen when those 2 users log on to the TS with

the same user account (maybe hardcoded in the rdp connection file

on the XP clients?), and the TS is configured to allow only a

single session per user account.

Re: Two specific users disconnecting each other

are both domain/local users? What user groups are they belong to? Can you

please verify if they use mstsc /console to connect to win2003 server?
