Files Locked for no reason....

Hi all

 

this may be really basic but my team and i are totally stumped..

 

(Im posting here first but it could be an XL issue as it appears thus far

only to affect XL docs..)

 

Users are randomly experiencing the message on their own documents when

attempting a rename or delete.

 

"Cannot delete file: It is being used by another person or program."

 

Normally we would just find the thread/open file and close them on the

server, EXCEPT they are not listed NOR does any unlock software report them

as currently in use.

 

A reboot of the server resolves the issue but after the first rename the

issue then re-occours.

 

Domain admins and the relavent users have either FC or modify access.
