Guest you WISHED you knew Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 iexpress.exe is a utility that comes in Windowx XP Service Pack 2 located at C\WINDOWS\system32\iexpress.exe FYI - this utility lets you create a self-extracting package. Now that I've said where it is, I want to know if anyone knows how I can fix it closing on me most of the time. If you can help, let me know. Thanx
Guest Alan Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Re: Why is iexpress.exe always closing on me? I just googled 'iexpress.exe' In addition to those links that give accurate information about this utility, there is a site at http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X3346639574640686228-0/IEXPRESS.EXE.html which tries to convince the reader that iexpress.exe is possibly a bad actor, and that the reader should download the Free Prevx CSI Scanner to make sure. I shudder to think just what crap the Free Prevx CSI Scanner will install on someone's PC.
