I can logon on a XP-workstation to a domain controled by a

2003-domaincontroller.

But not on a Vista-workstation on the same domain with the same user.

Another user can.

Something with the GPO?

The only differents between those users is that on thats fails on Vista ans

not on XP is member of a group. And the outher does not. They are both is the

same OU. Even the group.

Hello DanC,

Do you mean logon on the DC itself with remote desktop?

Re: logon to a server 2003 in Vista and XP problem

It seams it has to do with the roaming profile.

If i clear the profilepath. It works.

Problem is, i can't copy a local profile from a workstation to the server. (

see next subject)

I always get ID 2512 warings in the log.

I tryed with a copy of an working Vista roaming profile and it stil does not

work.
