Server 2003 SP1 reboot randomly

Hi,

Since a few days, the server reboot itself without apparent reason. In the

event log I have find these 2 error codes (first more often):

Fehlercode war: 0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0xf785f7e9, 0xb8771c48, 0xb8771944).

Fehlercode war: 0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0xf785fe23, 0xb851bc80, 0xb851b97c)

An old Foxpro (16 bit) program is running on it (XP client call it). This is

know as bad memory management and I am wondering whether it is not related,

although it was quite good working during about 2 years.

Does anyone know the meaning of the above codes?

Regards,

Hubert Retif

Hubert,

I would definitely suspect hardware. IMO 16-bit application cannot be the

reason for random reboots of the server.

Re: Server 2003 SP1 reboot randomly

In between, I receive regularly this error message (category "system

error"):

Fehlercode 1000007e, 1. Parameter c0000005, 2. Parameter f785f7e9, 3.

Parameter b9852c48, 4. Parameter b9852944.

Or is there a place where I can look after all these codes?

Thanks again Dave.
