Guest SharQ Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 using ntbackup on win 2k3 server backing up 1 folder destination = another win 2k3 server backup scheduled to run every night at 11:00 p.m. the backup file contains folders only, no files no errors in backup log event viewer shows backup & verification successful any ideas?

May be You're watching one of incremental copies where no changed files found - incremental backup includes only changed (or created) since last backup files, but contains complete folder structure.
