Guest raj Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I created a virtual image of a machine using Acronis. I'm trying to run the image on a different laptop. Both laptops are of same model (Dell latitude D630). When I start the virtual machine, the machine starts and when I try to login, I get this message: "This copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can log on. Do you want to activate Windows now?" Only a windows xp screen comes up when I click 'Yes' or 'No'. I could not activate Windows XP. How do I active Windows XP in this virtual machine? Thanks
