Guest Nightsampler Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 In Disk Cleanup under "Other Options" I am unable to delete all but the most recent restore point. I can delete all points by disabling SR, and then re-enabling it, but I prefer using the recommended procedure. Any suggestions? or am I missing something obvious. -- Is All That We See Or Seem But A Dream Within A Dream.

You can change System Restore settings to allocate less disk space for the restore files. You don't need to set aside 12% of your hard disk space for these files, especially if you have a large C: drive. I've got my 120 gb hard drive setting at 3% and I still have 28 restore points showing, probably much more than I really need or can even use. I've never gone back more than two or three restore points. Bill
