Guest TC2004 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I am trying to change the default view of folders in Explorer (with details and folders showing in the left hand pane). For some reason, setting it in Tools/Folder Options/View/Apply to all folders does not seem to work. Thanks for your help in advance. Astrid
Guest KevinQ Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 RE: Windows Explorer view with folders On the order of "Is the computer plugged in?", did you press the "Apply" button before applying it to all? -- #include <standard.disclaimer> _ Kevin D Quitt USA 91387-4454 96.37% of all statistics are made up

Guest ju.c Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Re: Windows Explorer view with folders You need to delete the Registry key "Bags". But here's a much better way: Folder View Master (no homepage anymore) http://mysite.verizon.net/res18hr7/FVM3.zip or http://members.home.nl/alsdewiedeweerga/Scripts/FVM3/FVM3.rar Just follow its directions. If you want to master folder views, just ask. ju.c "TC2004" <TC2004@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1D12C0B2-8532-47BB-B856-352F373D9882@microsoft.com... > I am trying to change the default view of folders in Explorer (with details > and folders showing in the left hand pane).
