Guest Paul Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832936 ? It says to install a Service pack. Thats a waste of time, since XP SP3 is installed. And the hotfix above, is older than the one thats installed now I'm getting the exact error thats on this site And I dont use Standby, so I dont know why this error appears in the first place. Event Type: Warning Event Source: W32Time Event Category: None Event ID: 36 Date: 1/09/2008 Time: 8:41:09 p.m. User: N/A Computer: SPEEDY Description: The time service has not been able to synchronize the system time for 49152 seconds because none of the time providers has been able to provide a usable time stamp. The system clock is unsynchronized. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Guest Paul Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Re: Is there a fix / patch for this? No a NZ time server. Maybe I should try and find a more reliable one? It should help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951531 Otherwise use a different NTP server for time. - Thee Chicago Wolf
