afqr2007 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Hi all I am looking at getting my computer upgraded to make it play games much better but i am stuck at knowing which Cards my computer can handle. First of all i Want to upgrade my Graphics card then my Sound card. Below are the Spec of my computer (not the best im afraid) PSU: Max Output 450W Motherboard: Aopen Serial number MX46-533V Current Graphics card Radeon 9550 If you need any more information just ask and i will provide it. KenB Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hi and welcome to ExTS Radeon 9550 From what I can find - this is an AGP card. see here This indicates an old motherboard and you do not to have a PCIe x 16 slot that newer cards would require. see here I don't think you are going to be able to upgrade this system to play modern games.
