sportie Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 hi a friend gave me a computer which is all working fine but when i switch it on and its loading up i noticedat the bottom of the screen at the left corner it says Cosmos settings wrong ... what does this mean and is it anything to worry about ?? can it be fixed easily thanks Quote
Bluesplayer. Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Hi and welcome. It usually means that the Bios battery is running low. The Bios battery is needed to save the Pc settings, time, date etc, when the Pc is turned off. You may need to replace your CMOS [bios] battery.
