Just Using the calendar in outlook

So I don't use Outlook at home, and there I am obviously not hooked up to a

corporate network. Same thing at school.

What I do like, however, is outlook's calender and how it nicely schedules

everything.

My problem is that every time I try to open outlook, it asks me to specify

what network I want to connect to-canceling closes the applications...

Is there any way for me to access outlook's calender without dealing with

all the network queries? That is, how do I open up outlook without

configuring outlook?

Thanks!

Modify the "Send/Receive" Groups, so that no polling for either

outbound or inbounds mail is done.

Why ask here? Do you see OUTLOOK in this group's title? No.

Ask elsewhere
