Re: uninstalling

a valid response I thought,

'the option' makes me think of an uninstall shortcut in the menu tree.

so add remove programs in control panel is the way to go

Programs like Microsoft Office, and other minor suites, dont put uninstall

links where the program links are

and mother always said, if you cant say something nice, don't say anything.

If it doesn't have an option in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, check the

programs folder for an uninstall file. If one isn't present and it's not an

application/program/utility that runs without having to install, please help

others help you by providing the names of the applications/programs/utilities.

considering that the o.p.

to find this newsgroup and

likelihood that the op already

tried a/r programs since it is

an option that is at the top of

the control panel list.

therefore, the problem

is likely that there is no

uninstall provided for

the software.

so deleting the parent

folder and then removing

the orphaned registry keys

and scanning for infection

is the method to rid unwanted

software when a/r programs

is no longer an option.

You don't own these newsgroups and you don't own any threads or parts of

any conversation it the discussions. As long as you keep giving stupid

and outright dangerous advice in these groups others will challenge your

replies, not because they want to help you gain additional knowledge,

you're are just too stubborn to learn anything new, but because they

don't want the less experienced users to follow your stupid advice and

break their computers!

We don't give a flying hoot about you and your silly notions but we do

care about other users who may not yet know how bad your advice really

is so we tell them to be wary or to just plainly disregard your almost

always incorrect or mostly wrong information!

You think because you are an MVP that you only give correct information? lol

you're funny just like the other trolls MVP or not. If DB gave bad

information then point out what is bad and why and then give the op the

correct information. You did none of that and you call you yourself an MVP.

You should be slapped and dropped from the program for trollish behavior.

Cyberstalking is a crime. If you had one as bad as I did simply ignoring

them is not an option.
