Outlook Quicklaunch Icon

Having this trouble again, but link to old post expired/post no longer found.

I have a duplicate Outlook icon that keeps reappearing after I delete it.

It is the all too familiar /recycle icon that Windows loves to toss out about

once every five reboots.

Please help (again - sorry!)!

It sounds like you put an icon there for OL, correct? Outlook places

one there also. Just remove yours and you'll be fine.

Terry R,

I did place an icon there and have since removed it. The trouble is, it

keeps reappearing after I delete it.

Like I mentioned, OL places one there also. If you're trying to get rid

of both(?), not sure you can. Try removing all OL icons and then one

will most likely return. You may have to live with that one.

Re: Outlook Quicklaunch Icon

I did post about the IE7 icon, but this was altogether a different issue (IE7

Desktop Icon issue)

Is there a way you can check all my old posts? I know for a fact I have

posted this before; in fact, I still have the response email but the link no

longer works.
