Guest Butch Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Tried to burn a dvd last night. It would just set and do nothing. I have 2 burners, I was trying to use my lightscribe burner. After looking in my computer I notice this burner is now listed as a DVD-Ram drive my other burner is listed as DVD-RW. I never noticed this before I installed SP3. Used the other burner and it worked fine. Went to lite-ons web site and I have the newest driver. Any ideas?
Guest Xandros Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Re: dvd drive Do you have third party software for burning? XP does not have the built in ability to burn to DVD like can to CD. There are several good freeware programs if you don't wish to purchase a third party app like Nero or Roxio.
