Guest Raul Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I currently have terminal server installed on the same machine as the domain. I have a new domain. can I demote, the domain machine with terminal server to a reguler server make it a member of the new domain and still maintain the terminal server config and its licenses? Thanks, Raul Rego NJPIES
Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Re: terminal server config You could but keep in mind that you will lose your profiles and the settings in there. In other words, your users will be starting over from scratch. You will also want to test everything to make sure it works ok. You will especially want to test things like applications or anything that has to do with domain specific settings like permissions. -- Jeff Pitsch Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services "Raul" <jjkgr@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1A030CD6-4CE0-4D1C-B4D7-5C2EA926E4CC@microsoft.com... >I currently have terminal server installed on the same machine as the >domain. > > I have a new domain. can I demote, the domain machine with terminal server > to a reguler server make it a member of the new domain and still maintain > the terminal server config and its licenses? > > Thanks, > Raul Rego > NJPIES
