Guest David Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I started XP pro today and received the msg. "Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted" error logging in Now when I log into my account, the system thinks all of my user files are in "c:\Documents and Settings\TEMP\" rather than the "c:\Documents and Settings\david" directory. I know how to repair this issue, but I am wondering if this is an indication of a larger problem. Eg. is a repair of the profile sufficient or should I reinstall XP before more issues surface. Thanks

Guest David Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Re: Help on "Missing Profile Windows XP" I ran disk disk and all was OK. However, I have seen XP and Win2000 have one issue, and then 1-2 week later, the system has crashed! I guess I need to keep a good backup!
