ok hello guys, I am looking to upgrade this pc I recently purchased from a friend. Its a Compaq Presario 2005 Media Edition SR2011WM. Here is a link for all the specs, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00776474&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3292424

I know this computer is dated to say the least. I just bought a gig of crucial ram to speed it up a little. Now I am just looking for some smaller upgrades preferably with out having to replace the mobo. I really don't want to spend more than $75 but I just don't know which video/graphics card to chose, I don't know which is compatible with this older computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

SOME OF MY COMPUTERS SPECS

Celeron 352 (D) 3.2 GHz

533 MHz front side bus

ATI Radeon Xpress 200 for Intel Processors

OS Windows XP Media Edition

Hi,

If this is your motherboard .....

It is a micro-ATX form factor.

9.6 x 9.6 inches - this is smaller than the standard ATX ( 12 x 9.6 inches )

You may need to be careful selecting a Video Card to suit.

Also - depending on your choice - you may need to upgrade your present Power Supply Unit to cope with the card.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
