Problem with Win 2008 TS Easy Print

Hi,

we have serious issue with the new feature "Easy Print" in 2008 server. The

problem is that the physical margins of the local/client printers are not

carried over to the easy print driver on the TS. This is not a big issue

with all software that has a proper page setup dialogue with settings for

all 4 margins. The problem arises with software that depends on the physical

margins set in the print driver to place the print correctly.

Is there any settings for this? Like "Use physical margins from printer

driver", somewhere in registry perhaps, or in a settings file. I have spent

a few days trying to make this work and I'm running out of ideas... Maybe

this feature is missing in Easy Print? If so, I would call it a big problem

and a fix should be release ASAP.

Re: Problem with Win 2008 TS Easy Print

Yes,

the same issue appears with XPS Document Writer, there are no margins in the

document. Since that particular program have no page setup/margin settings

and relies on the printer drivers margin settings it will not work unless

Easy Print could manage to pass the printer drivers margin settings from the

client to the TS server.

A default page setup/maring settings in the XPS Document Writer driver on

the server would probably suffice in most cercumstances.
