What can cause a System Restore not to work?

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to find some Restore point that works but am

finding that none of them do. I have at least 1 1/2 months of Restore

points available and have not been able to find one that will work. So

I'm stuck. Any reason why this is happening? I have previously been

able to Restore w/o problems but had not done so in several months, so

I'm not sure why this is happening now.

Certain security programs interfere with System Restore. Have you

installed any recently?

Well, I followed that link and suspect that the part about the

updating Real Player may have done the trick. It now works fine!

Thanks for the tips!
