Guest Fran99 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I just installed xp pro on two machines on my LAN network I can and been sharing files to the desktop, but now I can share to the desk top on the XP pro machines. Did Microsoft change something in XP pro. Is there a fix or some way I can accass the desktop of my XP Pro machines from the XP home. Thanks

Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab. Uncheck the last option, "Use Simple File Sharing". Make sure you've created matching user accounts/passwords on all machines.
