Guest S H A R I Q U E Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 i have installed + activated Windows Server 2008 Terminal Licesning Server role in Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition. However, I am getting this error after performing activation. "The following error occured on the licensing server.0x534, No mapping between account names and security IDs was done." My domain controller is running Windows 2000 Advanced Server(native mode) with SP4. Is Terminal Services Licensing Service group available on Windows 2000 AD.I have not managed to find one? I visited following URL and user in question is experiencing same problem. http://forums.technet.microsoft.com/en-US/winserverTS/thread/6801b1a4-0e4c-4102-8951-bb0bc1654a91/ After reading above link, i think i need to upgrade my Windows 2000 DC to Windows Server 2003 DC to get Terminal Services Lincensing Server group in AD and get my Windows Server 2008 computer into that group. regards
